Linden Wildflower Trails Scholarship Program
The Linden Wildflower Trails of Texas Festival Committee awarded its 2012 scholarship to Grace Nicole Fant who is a senior at Texas A&M-Texarkana pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She is scheduled to graduate in May 2013. Fant received the Associate degree in nursing from Texarkana College in 2007 and is employed by Atlanta Memorial Hospital. She is a 2003 graduate of Linden-Kildare High School and lives in Linden with her husband and daughter.

Scholarship Requirements
The Linden Wildflower Trails organization provides annual scholarships to graduates of Linden-Kildare High School. To be eligible, a student must be either a junior or senior at an accredited four-year institution of higher education in the fall semester; must demonstrate a GPA of at least 2.5 (current official transcript required); and must be a graduate of Linden-Kildare High School. Interested students may pick up an application from the administrative assistant at the Linden Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) office, 201 North Main Street, Linden, TX, Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30 or request a form at rebecca@txk.net. Completed applications, transcripts, and letters of reference should be mailed to Linden Wildflower Trails Committee, 370 CR 1897, Linden, TX 75563, or should be delivered to the administrative assistant at the LEDC office. Deadline for applications is July 15 each year.
